We are inviting applications for three roles within legal services. The successful candidate for each post will be a Solicitor or Barrister or FCILEx. All candidates must demonstrate knowledge and experience in the specified area of law, in addition to excellent interpersonal skills. An ability to  hold a personal caseload of complex matters, to prioritise and work to tight deadlines, work flexibly to find pragmatic solutions and a willingness to develop new areas of expertise will be essential.

All roles offer the opportunity for flexible working and generous annual leave entitlement (up to 28 days, excluding bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 5 years’ service). Leeds City Council is a member of the West Yorkshire Pension Fund.

PO6 Team Leader - Principal Legal Officer  (Property & Development) – to £44,697

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge and experience in strategic and complex general property and commercial property work to manage
a legal team, provide advice to the council and attend committees and board meetings.
