The firm is seeking a Technology and Privacy Associate to join their City of London office.

This Technology and Privacy role sits within the wider Corporate and Commercial team. This department has experienced a surge of growth recently, with further growth planned, making now an exciting time to join. You will work alongside a Partner dealing with high-quality work across a varied client base including Global technology clients and retailers; you will oversee the work of a more junior lawyer. The work will be broad, this will make for a more interesting role, work will include; IT agreements (software licences, maintenance, escrow, SaaS, hosting arrangements, reseller, open-source etc), E-commerce issues, Data protection, B2C issues, Outsourcing and distribution agreements, Supply agreements and some competition law.

This role comes with very good prospects for progression.

• You will be a Technology and Privacy Lawyer with at least four years PQE (there is no upper limit on PQE)
• You might work at an IP/IT practice, In-House or private practice
• You should have experience of dealing with Commercial/IT/IP/Privacy advice to Global companies
• First-rate technical knowledge is essential
• Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your background, plus an excellent benefits package
