Locum Property Lawyer

A multi office practice in Kent are seeking the assistance of a locum Property lawyer to cover a period of holiday leave in summer. The role will last for three weeks.

Candidates are required to work without supervision and have experience in both Residential and Commercial Property due to the fact the caseload is a mixture of both Residential and Light Commercial matters – the bias being towards Residential Property.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in handling a full Residential Property caseload to include: freehold and leasehold sales and purchases; transfers of equity; re-mortgages; leases and lease extensions; developments and new builds. Experience in handling light Commercial Property matters such as lease extensions and option agreements would be of significant benefit.

Previous experience as a locum would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite.

There will be secretarial support and the use of a case management system.
