Job Details

I am working with a top tier US law firms who is seeking an associate attorney with at least two years of experience to join their Beijing office after a short training period in New York. The associate will have the opportunity to work directly with partners and senior associates on interesting cross-border transactions and litigations. The following qualifications are required:

- Mandarin Chinese native fluency and English fluency

- U.S. law degree (J.D. or LL.M.) and PRC law degree

- At least two years' experience in corporate transactional and/or litigation work at a large U.S. law firm or a top Chinese law firm with significant international practice

- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese

- Familiarity with M&A and private equity practice (knowledge in accounting, corporate finance and capital markets/securities law and litigation is a plus, but not required)

- Authorization to work in the United States

New York bar admission is preferred. They will consider candidates who are admitted to practice in New York and candidates who have taken the New York bar exam and are still waiting for results.
