Locum Commercial Property Solicitor (Outside IR35)

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Property Solicitor has arisen within a Local Authority in the West Midlands. This position requires an established Lawyer who is looking for a challenging role handling a range of high level property project work.

The contract is predicted to last for a minimum period of 6 months to cover a period of maternity leave but could be extended.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a number of projects on behalf of the local authority, involving high level commercial property and corporate work to include:

• Development agreements for residential and commercial regeneration
• Funding agreements
• Grant agreements
• The set up of new companies

Applications will be considered from qualified Lawyers, Solicitors and Legal Executives with strong local authority experience specialising in high level project work.

This is a full time position but candidates who wish to work on a part-time basis may also be considered. There may also be flexibility to work from home.

In return, a daily rate of up to £350 is offered dependent upon experience. This position has been deemed ‘Outside IR35'.
