HOURS: Full time (9:30 - 5:30)

Our client is an international legal 500 law firm with offices based in London, Manchester & Guildford. Due to increasing work streams of conveyancing work from a large repeat client, they have identified a need to recruit a further conveyancer to work alongside two existing conveyancers in their New Homes Team, in their Guildford office

The role would be primarily to undertake conveyancing due diligence investigations and enquiries, reporting on the purchase of houses and apartments in part exchange for new build sales, effecting exchanges and completions, and submission of all associated SDLT and Land Registry type forms.

The new build sales would be handled by colleagues with whom the candidate would work closely with, and the candidate would therefore focus on the buy in of the part exchange dwellings, their registration, and their resale. The role would essentially be to do the residential conveyancing aspects, albeit in a commercial setting as the client would be the newbuild developer who would be buying in second hand properties to facilitate their new build plot sales, and would then be looking to resell the bought in dwellings asap.

You will also be aspectd to handle a typical high street residential conveyancing case load.

The role would be suitable for a junior solicitor or CILEX with conveyancing experience who can handle their own conveyancing files.
