We have a new opportunity for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a leading practice in the heart of Canterbury. This leading and well established practice offers a comprehensive range of specialist services in a broad range of legal areas. With a strong connection to the community, it provides excellent client care to a loyal base of returning clients. Located in Canterbury with offices across the South East of England,the office has convenient transport networks nearby. Currently experiencing a period of growth, the firm is now seeking a Dispute Resolution solicitor to join the team.

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a dynamic Dispute Resolution Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE. 

The successful solicitor will manage a varied caseload of contract and commercial claims, such as contract disputes, construction disputes, shareholder/partnership disputes, IPR, data protection, professional negligence as well as regulatory breaches and competition.

You will be able to manage all aspects of commercial disputes from instruction to settlement. The ideal Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be able to work on his or her own initiative and as part of a team.

THE CANDIDATE

• Be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE, with solid experience gained within Dispute Resolution
• Have excellent client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in clear
• Possess excellent technical and organisational skills
• Be commercially aware, with excellent negotiation skills.
