Lawyer /Senior Lawyer (Enforcement)

£30,153 to £38,238. (pay award pending)

Full-time 37 hours per week

Are you an enthusiastic and hardworking Lawyer looking to develop your career by working for a progressive Local Authority with a drive towards enforcement and litigation?  Our small and friendly legal team are looking for an experienced Lawyer to provide high quality advice to the Council, its councillors and officers.

You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of court procedures and the law relating to local authority licensing, housing, civil and criminal litigation.  Some experience of local authority prosecutions is desirable.  A willingness to undertake advocacy is essential as is the ability to handle a complex legal caseload in a calm and timely manner.
