With a high client representation, they have acquired a team of experienced Lawyers and support staff working together to ensure all client needs are meet. Committed to the community, they actively participate in local charities and events and are now seeking a confident Family Solicitor for their Reading office.

The Role
A great opportunity has arisen for a Family Lawyer to join a Legal 500 department in Reading, Berkshire. With 2-5 years’ PQE, the firm welcomes applications from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives who have a confident and commercial approach to their work. Handling a diverse caseload under minimum supervision, your duties will include: divorce; Children Act applications; civil partnership agreements; mediation; child abduction; separation agreements and; multi-jurisdictional matters. The successful Lawyer will have Mediation Accreditation or Child Panel Membership and comfortable with mid to high net value transactions. You will also be willing to participate in business development, marketing and networking initiatives for the further development of the firm. This is a full time, permanent position.

The Candidate
Ideally, a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2-5 years’ experience in Family matters;
Child Panel Membership or Mediation Accreditation would be highly desirable;
Demonstrate excellent client care skills and communicate in a clear and concise manner;
Have the ability to handle a diverse caseload to meet key deadlines;
Actively participate in business development and marketing initiatives;
Confident with a commercial approach to your work.
