Childcare Lawyers
Salary - £40,887 – £43,734 per annum
Local Government is facing many challenges and here at the South London Legal Partnership we have embraced this with the formation of a shared service providing legal services to the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
We are working in an exciting innovative environment where we are providing high quality legal services to our clients. Our ethos is based on excellent client care where we have a ‘can do’ attitude.
We are looking to recruit child care lawyers to join our team that provides legal advice in relation to the safeguarding of vulnerable children. Our team is structured so that lawyers predominately give advice to 2 client departments.
The current vacancies are:
Sutton and Merton
3 (fte) lawyers (predominately based at our offices in Morden)
Wandsworth and AFC (the company created by Richmond and Kingston to provide their children’s services).
1.8 (fte) lawyers predominately based at the SLLP hub at Wandsworth Town Hall
1 (fte) lawyer predominately based at Kingston Civic Centre and Richmond Civic Centre in Twickenham.
We want to recruit and develop lawyers who have excellent legal skills, are client focused and well motivated and who welcome the opportunity of working for more than one client department.
Please specify which vacancies you wish to be considered for in your covering letter.
For further information or an informal discussion please contact Lucy Craig on 020 8545 3805 or Lesley Jarvis on 020 8274 5253
