Locum Adultcare Lawyer

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to join a large friendly team working within a Local Authority in the Lincolnshire area. The role is for an initial period of 3 months with a high possibility of extension.

Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with previous experience working within a Local Government organisation specialising in Adult Social Care Law.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters to include:

• Complex ASC queries
• DOLs issues
• Court of Protection work and Mental Capacity issues
• Section 16 applications, together with drafting, liaising with clients and case work
• Section 21A appeals including advocacy in the Court of Protection
• Judicial reviews and General Queries

You must also be able to respond to very tight court deadlines.

The position offers an attractive rate of between £40-£50 per hour dependant on experience.
