Nine month contract for a Civil Litigation Lawyer (1+ PQE) to work for a National Law Enforcement Agency

Your new company
The role of this national law enforcement agency is to protect the public from the most serious threats by disrupting and bringing to justice criminals who present the highest risk to the UK. They have partnerships with the police, law enforcement, the public sector, private industry and internationally are fundamental to our success. They are currently looking for Lawyers for a nine months advisory contract.

Your new role
You will be providing legal advice to this national law enforcement agency, therefore you should be able to demonstrate reliable judgement and have a sound appreciation of legal risk. You will be expected to represent this agency in meetings and other forums periodically and to perform a management function within the team structure where appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you will be a UK qualified Solicitor of Barrister with a minimum of 1 year PQE. You should be able to demonstrate civil litigation, commercial law and general advisory as well as being able to demonstrate experience of the data protection Act. Finally you should have a good working knowledge of relevant legal acts, e.g. Human Rights Act 1998.
