Corporate Commercial Paralegal

Our client, a large and busy local authority is currently looking for experienced corporate commercial paralegal. The position will work closely with the commercial team, who are procurement experts and recognise the commercial ambitions of all clients, to provide an effective and support role, ensuring they maintain their reputation of securing best value and service for clients.

The post will be for an initial 3 months with the high likelihood to extend and will be an exciting opportunity for experienced paralegal looking to gain further experience within a reputable public sector organisation which is fast paced and works to tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with work experience in a legal environment, public sector or Council preferred
• Have experience of working within a legal setting in a public service, providing routine legal advice around corporate and commercial law
• Be able to develop working relationship across a large and complex organisation

The role will cover 37 hours per week and you will be paid on an hourly basis.
