1 x Team Leader – Litigation & Dispute Resolution (Permanent)

Starting salary is £46,608 rising to £48,512 on first year anniversary,
subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join our
legal team at Nottingham City Council.

We are looking for an enthusiastic solicitor to lead and manage our
busy team dealing with litigation and dispute resolution who will
ensure it functions in the most cost-effective and efficient way.

The team covers an extensive range of civil litigation in the High
Court, County Court and Magistrates’ Courts including contract and
commercial disputes, judicial review, housing disrepair, and litigation
relating to other housing matters and anti-social behaviour. In addition
to managing the team, you will also advise clients (both internal and
external) on complex legal matters and have conduct of related legal
proceedings, as required. You will have a specialism in at least one key
area of the team’s work.
