Our client is an award-winning law firm which has been recognised as a top national employer an excellent in terms of training and talent management. There is now an opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor, or solicitor with up to 2 years PQE to join their well-regarded employment, pensions and immigration team.  
 
The market leading employment team deals with a variety of matters including pensions and immigration for various well-known employers across a wide range of sectors. The team is recognised for having a challenging yet friendly and supportive environment, which provides the perfect environment for a budding solicitor at the early stages of your qualified legal career. 
 
Your role will involve assisting the wider team with their caseloads and building up to handling your own caseload of employment work. You will be involved in providing advice to a wide range of clients, drafting various court documents and witness statements and eventually conducting advocacy at the Employment Tribunal. 
 
This role will offer you the opportunity to be involved in business development activities on behalf of the team and the wider firm as well as training and networking initiatives which gives you the opportunity to build up your profile within the firm and specifically with the firms' key clients. 
  
To be considered for this employment opportunity in Manchester, you will need to have worked at a national or recognised regional firm with a strong academic profile. You will have experience in employment work, specifically a seat in your training contract if you are at NQ level, otherwise up to 2 years' PQE for solicitors with more experience. The firm will offer excellent ongoing training and progression as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
