Legal 200 practice is looking to add an additional Employment Legal Assistant to their team in Crawley, West Sussex.

Overall, building and maintaining client relationships is a founding principle of this well-established firm. Owing to continued success, our client is now looking to hire an Employment Legal Assistant to work in their Crawley office, located in a historic West Sussex town which is well-established in the legal framework and has good rail and road transport links.

The Role
Providing extensive support to fee earners in a Legal 500 recognised Employment department, the successful Legal Assistant will be available to start ASAP with a fast and accurate typing speed of 60 wpm. Duties will include: preparing legal documents; file management; setting up client meetings; diary management; travel coordination; answering client queries; use of case management systems; telephony; drafting indexes; producing bills and; general administrative duties. It is essential to demonstrate excellent communication and client care skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. You will also actively participate in business development and marketing initiatives including involvement in the preparation of pitches and presentations.

The Candidate
Ideally, a Paralegal with experience in an Employment department;
Highly academic with a fast typing speed of 60 wpm;
Demonstrate top class client care and communication skills;
Be available for immediate start;
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools and Case Management Systems;
Participate in business development and marketing initiatives;
Work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
