A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to to join a Global Manufacturing business based at their UK Headquarters in Birmingham. This is the first hire for a Contracts Manager in the UK, so the role is crucial in ensuring a wide range of commercial legal matters are handled for the European business. Applications are invited from both qualified Solicitors and non qualified Contract Managers.

The successful candidate will advise on the drafting, reviewing and negotiating of a wide range of high-value/non-standard commercial contracts and agreements (Sales, Procurement, Supplier, Services etc...). In addition, it is hoped that you will have prior experience of providing input into the development of a framework for the management of all Commercial Contracts across EMEA region. This will include process design and ongoing improvement to enhance the capability of Commercial sales teams, improvement internal stakeholder relationships and driving service quality. You will also be required to ensure the business operations in the region are compliant for each jurisdiction.

Ideally, you will possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a Commercial Contracts / Contracts Manager position. Candidates from a Manufacturing business would be ideal, although this is not essential. Experience of working for a business which operates internationally is preferred.
