Construction Solicitor. 
 
Our client is an award-winning law firm which has been recognised as a top national employer and excellent in terms of training and talent management. There is now an opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor, or solicitor with up to 4 years' PQE to join their well-regarded construction team. 

The construction team is looking to grow with the hire of a solicitor to assist across a broad range of construction matters for the public and private sector. The team boasts an impressive list of household name clients spanning a wide range of sectors including high street retailers, leisure operators, developers, local authorities, educational institutions and healthcare providers. The team advises on all aspects of construction risk management from procurement to completion. The team has a strong emphasis contentious matters but is relatively unique in that it also deals with non-contentious work. 
 
The team prides itself on its challenging yet warm and supportive environment which will provide you with the strong foundations required to develop your career as a construction solicitor. The firm has a structured progression plan and you will see your training and development being taken to another level as you tap into the resources available to you in this top national law firm.  
 
Your role will involve undertaking a wide range of construction work including drafting heads of terms, development agreements and various associated construction matters. At NQ level you will be assisting senior lawyers and with their cases and building up your experience and eventually handling your own matters within a structured and supportive environment under the supervision of specialist construction lawyers.
 
You will be considered with a strong academic profile (ideally 2:1 at degree level or equivalent, or lower if you have experience in dealing with complex construction matters). At NQ level a seat in construction is preferable.
