The role

The firm are currently seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to work in the firms flourishing Chelmsford, Essex.

You will work alongside a highly experienced Partner, working on high quality work. This will be a hands-on role where you will get lots of autonomy and not just high levels of exposure to technical disputes, but you will be at the forefront of the department, leading a team and working alongside the other Partner to lead the department forwards.

This could be the perfect opportunity for a Senior Associate looking for a step up to Partnership.

The client base is broad and will include SME, OMB and national companies, this will make for an interesting caseload. The caseload will include; breach of contract, negligence, insurance, employment, property, insolvency, IT, social media, intellectual property and regulatory problems.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with at least 7 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regards to the amount of experience)
• You should have strong experience in commercial litigation
• Ideally, you will have a strong billings history
• You should have a meticulous eye for detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential
• Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
