Defendant Insurance Solicitor.

Well known firm with a strong defendant side insurance team are looking to appoint a qualified solicitor, ideally at NQ-3 years PQE to join their very busy department.
 
In this role you will handle EL/PL claims from a defendant perspective, workplace claims, public sector and local government claims, and claims against high profile organisations.
 
You’ll find an award winning firm with technically strong fee earners who can guide and nurture you at this key stage of your career where you are still learning so much.
 
There is no business development to take place here, the work is plentiful, good margins on the work and the client base is niche and the envy of many other firms.
 
You should have good academics and had exposure to defendant insurance or litigation within your training contract.
 
In this role you will handle a varied caseload including acting on behalf of various local authorities and insurers, protecting their interests, managing a caseload of litigated files including Highways Law, Occupiers Liability Employers Liability, Housing disrepair and flooding cases.
 
To succeed in this role you should have excellent organisational  and time management skills and you will be keen to forge your own career here.
