An exciting new role has arisen with a major UK law firm who are looking to recruit a Commercial lawyer to join their office in Reading.
The firm is known for working with some of the world's most ambitious and rapidly growing businesses and has a network of offices working together as one national team, meaning there is great opportunity for development and growth with your career. The role will involve handling a high quality caseload from the outset covering a full spectrum of commercial work. This will include advising on large multinational outsourcing arrangements and complex IT projects to more routine supply arrangements and distribution/agency contracts, acting for many big household named clients.
The commercial team is going from strength to strength and currently in growth mode so they are looking for another solicitor to join them. As well as your general commercial contracts work you can expect to handle work within technology, media & telecoms, intellectual property, and financial services to name a few. Those looking for a role that is really broad ranging are encouraged to apply.
Due to the work on offer, candidates must have some solid experience within commercial law and so the firm have indicated that solicitors with at least 4 years pqe will succeed in this role, although all levels of pqe will be considered. The firm as a whole are very big on client service and so candidates must have the ability to build new and maintain existing relationships. Experience with business development is a must as there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in networking and marketing events.
