Job Details

£50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus and benefits

BMA Law is a specialist healthcare law firm that was established as an ABS in 2015 by the British Medical Association, which is the trade union and professional association for doctors and medical students in the UK.

The role involves advising on corporate/commercial and regulatory matters for members of the BMA and other external clients, and on occasion the internal departments and committees of the BMA itself.

It provides an outstanding opportunity for any solicitor who is looking to utilise and develop their skills on both a legal and business-related footing within a skilled, dynamic and supportive environment that operates within the healthcare sector.

Working closely with the BMA, the BMA Law team is at the forefront of healthcare policy and legislative change and can be asked to advise on matters that can potentially impact the medical profession as a whole.  Due to our relationship with the BMA the role combines the best aspects of private practice and working in house.

You will need to be a corporate/commercial solicitor with at least 2 years’ post qualification experience (PQE) to join our growing team of lawyers who deal with a busy and diverse caseload.  Healthcare experience is beneficial but by no means essential.  This position would also suit a solicitor with general commercial experience gained in private practice, who is now looking for an opportunity to progress by specialising in the healthcare field with support from a team of expert lawyers.

BMA Law is proud of the work it does for the medical profession which has seen us continue to grow as one of a few truly specialist law firms in the healthcare sector.  For further information on BMA Law, please visit www.bmalaw.co.uk.
