Job Details
Well-established law firm in Huddersfield seeks a Private Client Paralegal for their busy Court of Protection department. Working alongside a senior Solicitor, you will handle an existing caseload of Court of protection matters primarily focussing on health and welfare work – dealing with clients in hospital/care homes.
You will be capable of handling a caseload in this niche area, with a senior Solicitor to assist/support. Great long term prospects for the right candidate as the firm grows and develops.
You will need:
- To be a Paralegal with at least 12 months experience of handling a caseload of private client matters, including Court of Protection matters.
- Experience of elderly client/care home fees work advantageous.
- Experience of legal aid matters.
- The ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
- Business development skills advantageous.
- Excellent client care skills.
Competitive salary package including bonus scheme, contributory pension and 26 days holidays plus bank holidays.
Office hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm.
