Children Panel Solicitor - Legal 500 firm
 
An experienced Children Panel Member is needed for the family department of a top tier Legal 500 firm.

This firm have multiple offices and are an established name not just in the London market but across the country. The family department has gained continuing recognition over the years' for their work in child care/legal aid family law and they have added to their offering in recent times and now have a burgeoning private family team as well.

With the firm continuing to grow and them having a number of legal aid contracts, another accredited Children Panel Solicitor is needed.
 
You will be joining a team of almost 30 people and be expected to handle a full caseload of public law children work. You will be out of the office conducting advocacy at court regularly and will be asked to contribute to the ongoing development of the department - networking, etc.

To be considered for this role, you will be:

• Children Panel Accredited 
• Able to manage a full caseload and your own schedule without supervision
• Confident maintaining excellent client relationships and putting client care as a core focus of your work
• Keen to market the firm and generate new business

A following of Guardian clients would be a distinct advantage but is not a pre-requisite to be considered for the role. Additional experience in private family law could also be of benefit.
