Serious Injury Solicitor

A very successful and respected UK Law firm are currently recruiting for a NQ -3 years PQE Solicitor to join their Serious Injury team based in their Manchester office.

The Serious Injury Team aims to ensure they help clients live a life as full as possible after a serious injury and make a real difference by not only dealing with the compensation claim, but by working with clients and their families to ensure all of their rehabilitation needs are met

The role is a rare opportunity to specialise in this high profile, and deeply rewarding area of personal injury law.

The ideal candidate will:

* Have experience of around NQ-3 years Personal Injury litigation, ideally in Serious Injury - a trainee solicitor who wants to qualify into this role may be considered;
* Have claimant multi track serious / catastrophic injury related experience
* Have some experience working on high value and complex cases involving brain injury, head injury, upper and lower limb amputations or severe orthopaedic injury related cases
* Have attention to detail with regard to learning legal skills and supporting the solicitors and clients in the investigation and prosecution of their claims
* Be efficient but approachable and caring towards their clients
* Be able to operate independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and work well with other team members
* Have excellent client care and inter-personal skills, operating with integrity and showing empathy and intuition
* Support the senior solicitors in litigation in a range of Serious Injury cases, working to maximise client damages and optimise costs recovery.

Candidates with personal injury litigation experience but not serious injury experience MUST:

* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and keenness to be involved in serious injury claims.
