In-House Assistant Solicitor or Barrister

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Solicitor or Barrister NQ to 2 years PQE or equivalent experience within our busy in-house Legal Team. The role will be essential to providing support to the whole legal team (excluding employment law) and will be integral to the efficiency of the team.

This is the perfect career move for someone with a generalist commercially focused background, particularly for someone who is flexible in their workload. Areas of practice include:

  • Commercial contracts
  • Data Protection
  • Regulatory
  • Serious Incidents / Inquests
  • Claims and litigation
  • Mental Health Act / Mental Capacity Act
  • Commercial Property
  • Corporate M & A

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills particularly with accurate drafting skills, with the ability to communicate with people of all levels and an excellent training record within some of these practice areas.  You will be proactive and independent with a good working knowledge of MS Office, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing demands.

This is a new position and the type of role that does not come up very often.
