Principal Investigative Lawyers and Proceeds of Crime Lawyers
Band B - £48,938 - £63,000
The Serious Fraud Office is a specialist investigation and prosecuting authority tackling the top level of serious or complex fraud, bribery and corruption. We are looking for talented individuals to take up posts as Principal Investigative Lawyers and Proceeds of Crime Lawyers. These are varied and exciting roles suited to barristers or solicitors with significant criminal or commercial litigation or investigation experience. Permanent and fixed term positions are available.
Your experience may come from a law firm, chambers, Government or industry, but in any case you will be comfortable working in a multi-strand legal or investigative environment. You will be confident when advising on complex legal issues and you will be able to explain and debate issues with more senior staff. The roles may involve line management of more junior lawyers and/or investigative staff. You will be provided with training in specialist areas, such as investigative interviewing which you may not have acquired to date.
For further information about the work of the SFO and the requirements of the roles, please read the Candidate Information Pack attached to the job advert on the Civil Service jobs website.
