Job Details

Are you an experienced employment solicitor actively looking for your next role in Glasgow?

QED Legal's client, a leading Scottish law firm, firmly entrenched at the forefront of both contentious and non-contentious employment law is looking to enhance their team with an experienced solicitor of at least three years post qualifying experience.

You will provide advice to the firm's stellar client base on all manner of employment issues, primarily related to respondent matters, and work alongside some of the country's most impressive accredited specialists in the employment field.

As this role will require you to undertake business development, you should have demonstrable skills in this area, be confident in providing bespoke advice to clients in-house, and have no qualms with appearing at tribunal.

If not already at associate level, you will be ready to make the step up to this level and ideally have demonstrable supervisory skills as some mentoring of trainee solicitors and newly qualified's may well be required.

In exchange for these skills, you will join a firm with little to no staff turnover, which truly relishes providing opportunities for their solicitor to continuously professionally develop and push towards accredited status should this be a route you are keen to pursue.

For additional information please contact Neil Campbell at QED Legal via the details provided.

Company

QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
