Commercial IP Legal Counsel.

Our client is a successful manufacturing company with a European presence, wanting to bring on board a Commercial IP Counsel for their Hertfordshire head office. 
 
This role reports into the Head of Legal and you will interact with much of the wider business as well as outside counsel. The work is high-quality, and will typically involve:
 
- Transacting a range of commercial agreements - including IPR licenses, distribution and marketing agreements, shareholders agreements, and joint ventures
- Supporting on due-diligence relating to corporate deals
- Handling and highlighting commercial risk
- Ad hoc queries and BAU contracts, as well as areas of patents and trade marks
 
To be considered for this exciting role, you will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE, gained either in-house or private practice. You will have demonstrable experience of commercial contracts and IP - and any experience within patents/trade marks would also be ideal, but not essential. If you have support an R&D-led organisation, that would be desirable.
 
Bilingual English/Spanish would be highly prized, along with any other European language - but is again, not essential.
