Commercial Contrats Lawyer - Charities

Our client, a highly recognised and life-changing charity, is currently looking for a lawyer with expertise in GDPR, data protection and commercial contracts to work within their busy legal department, focusing on fundraising and services.

The role will work with talented and passionate people who come together to improve the quality of life for individuals across the UK. In this role, contracts such as novation, variation, service and consultancy agreements, IT, payroll and fundraising shall be addressed.

The post is expected to last 6 months and will be an exciting opportunity for a self-starting commercial contract lawyer to gain excellent experience within a reputable in-house charity organisation, which is fast paced and works to tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Abundant experience working within an in-house legal department (charity/NHS contract experience is preferred)
• Strong GDPR, data protection and commercial contracts experience
• Able to manage own workload with minimum supervision
• Able to make pragmatic decisions
• Able to advise on or offer practical solutions to a range of issues that may be outside present field of knowledge
