Insolvency Senior Associate/ Partner

This is a London firm on the door step of Essex, you will deal with a large majority of London work, working alongside top flight Lawyers with work being fed from the firms West End office.

This role would be the perfect springboard to Partnership for a candidate perhaps in a top-heavy team seeking a route to Partnership, or perhaps a Partner looking for a lateral move. You will head up this department out of the Chigwell, Essex office, however working extremely close with the Partners across the firms' other offices.

The role

The firm is seeking to hire an Insolvency Partner / Head of Department to join their new Chigwell, Essex office.

The firm has a young and dynamic feel with most of the firm's Partners being under 40. They think outside of the box and have a genuinely refreshing approach to marketing and have recently opened a coffee shop within the firm's office specifically for internal and client meetings.

This Insolvency Partner / Head of Department role will work closely with the Commercial Litigation department. At the moment, the Insolvency work is handled by the Commercial Litigation team, although they are very busy and have a good reputation and client base within Insolvency, so the firm are seeking to have this as a separate sub department. This is an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of this department, within a firm that is organically growing. You will deal with a broad caseload which will include; Insolvencies, Administrations, Receiverships, Bankruptcies, and Liquidations.

This role comes with good prospects for Partnership, it would suit a Partner looking for a lateral move, or a senior Associate looking for a route to Partnership who may be in a top-heavy team.

Requirements

• You will be an Insolvency Solicitor with at least 7 years PQE
• You should be an ambitious and dynamic candidate who wants to be at the forefront of an exciting venture
• It is essential that you have had good exposure to business development and have the confidence to go out and develop new business
• This role would suit a candidate looking for a springboard to Partnership, who is perhaps working in a top-heavy team
• This role comes with one of the most lucrative bonus structure which allows you to earn 20% of your billings
• Salary is very negotiable depending on your level of PQE
