Job Details

Your new company
Leading professional full-service firm operating across the UK and internationally. This Mid-Atlantic firm has a firm global presence in over 20 countries worldwide.

Your new role
This firm is seeking an experienced Pensions Lawyer to join its Pensions practice team in the London City office. Their Pensions practice is well-established worldwide, with their UK pure Pensions team being highly experience and award winning, recognised for the quality of its practice. They pride themselves on being at the forefront of pensions developments and actively seek to influence UK government policy, actively contributing to all the major UK pensions professional bodies, providing secondments to some of their major clients' in-house pension departments, as well as to the Pensions Regulator and the Pensions Protection Fund, and constructively responding to government consultations on proposed policy changes.

What you'll need to succeed
Successful NQ candidates will have strong academics and an interest in being an expert Pensions Lawyer. Ideally, your technical know how will be from a well-recognised training contract and firm and you will have gained practical knowledge of the law surrounding and affecting pensions from doing a pensions seat. The firm are looking for someone who can take responsibility from day one, advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious pensions matters. There will be plenty of opportunity to represent the firm when meeting clients, so an interest for business development is preferable.

What you'll get in return
The firm offers a vibrant and supportive working environment built upon its core values; they are approachable, responsive, trustworthy and straightforward. They pride themselves on high quality client instructions, are committed to investing in the future learning and development of their NQ lawyers, and encourage their lawyers to build relationships and take part in business development opportunities. From day one you will work alongside and be supported by the firm's most acclaimed Partners.
