Senior Commercial Property Lawyer

We have an exciting new vacancy for a full time experienced Commercial Property Lawyer (will also consider part time at 4 days per week). You will join an expanding commercial property team of a well-established law firm based in Harrogate.

You will handle a caseload consisting of a wide range of commercial property matters - buying, selling and letting of commercial premises, commercial leases (landlord and tenant), development land and rural property. You should have a strong commerciality to be able to provide pragmatic business advice.

You will need:

• To be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with 5PQE+.
• To have the necessary experience to work independently and provide clear and visible leadership and a confident presence in the market.                    
• To be highly organised, efficient and technically competent lawyer with a proven commitment to client care.
• To demonstrate a willingness to be involved in business development including networking, developing key relationships and creating blog posts.
• To have experience working with a range of varied-value transactions both independently and as part of a team.
• A client following or strong existing network of clients and contact is desirable, but not essential .
• To have experience with small business sales would be helpful but not essential – i.e.  small asset-based business sales where property is the major component.
