Private Client Solicitor

Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for an opportunity to lead the team in Leeds and be instrumental in the development of junior colleagues, then we have an amazing opportunity for you.

Our client is a well-established, top 45 law firm with a strong reputation in the Leeds market. They have an enviable client base in the Yorkshire region with the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and respectable national team and grow the private client department in Leeds.

In this role you will work closely with the national head of department and manage your own caseload of private client matters such as wills, tax, trusts, high value/complex probate work and estate planning for high net worth individuals. You will assist other case handlers in the team and wider department with their cases supervising them when needed. You will also be responsible for the leadership and supervision of the team generally and further the development of junior colleagues.

Management responsibilities will include achieving financial and chargeable targets ensuring deadlines and quality measures are adhered to and complying with policies and procedures.

The firm believe this role will suit a candidate with at least 7 years PQE, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this level but who have the relevant knowledge/experience, together with the enthusiasm for this particular role.
