Construction Lawyer

This is a stand out opportunity for a junior Construction Solicitor to join a Top 100 firm, being part of a tier 1 real estate team in their picturesque office in Tunbridge Wells. This role will allow you to work alongside the Partners on non-contentious matters, working HNW individuals on large property portfolios.

This is an ideal role for either a junior construction solicitor looking to develop their career further, or an commercial property solicitor looking to move into Construction. This role will give you the platform to flourish, within a reputable personable department.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Solicitor to join this Top 100 firm in their Tunbridge Wells, Kent office.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established Real Estate department with. The Construction arm of this department is in tier 1 of the legal 500 with 7 dedicated construction lawyers (mix of contentious and non-contentious). The department itself specialises in Construction, commercial agreements, development agreements, residential matters and dispute resolution.

This caseload will consist of non-contentious matters advising on methods of procurement, standard form building contracts (JCT standard forms) collateral warranties as other matters. The client base is an interesting mix of large property portfolio holders, institutional investors, shopping centres and local authorities.

Requirements…

• You will be a NQ - 2-year PQE with experience or an interest in Construction
• Experience of business development will be to advantage
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail are essential
• You should work within a team
• You will deal with an excellent quality of work
• Salary is above market rate depending on your level of experience, plus an exceptional bonus structure and benefits package
