Corporate Solicitor

The firm believes in stability and continuity, providing a no-nonsense, hands-on service and limiting the use of legal jargon to ensure it builds good working relationships with clients. They invest in their people through ongoing training and development, so you could be sure that you are up-to-date with the latest market developments, trends and changes in legislation.

In this role you will be supporting leading lawyers from the profession who will be able to develop your skills and abilities. Working alongside a number of lawyers will help you to develop your own style and skills in the confidence that you will have learnt from some of the best, both technically and commercially. They deliver complex solutions and advice when needed and the team is fully supported by a wider base of equally strong lawyers, whether that be within commercial property, commercial, tax or employment.

In addition to the fee earning you will have a lot of contact with the clients, they will take you to meetings, events, dinners etc and encourage and help you to build your own base of contacts over time. They have a strong but developing clientele which ranges across sectors, from technology and medical to manufacturing. The size ranges from PLC to OMB's. Many of these are growing and evolving within the firm.

For this role they are ideally looking for someone between NQ Solicitor and 3years' PQE who has a sound, up to date knowledge of the law. Given their approach to clients, they are also looking for commercial awareness and the ability to balance legal requirements with business needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an NQ Solicitor or a Junior Solicitor who is looking to build your skillset and progress your career within an established team environment, but don't want to be stuck in a back room for the first few years in your career.
