Senior Legal Counsel

An international bank, based in the City of London, is currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to undertake a Brexit Legal role for upwards of 6 months.

Responsibilities of the role will likely entail, although are not limited to;

•         Leadership of Brexit Legal workstream, including oversight of external counsel

•         Legal workstream including, but not limited to;

• incorporation of new entities;
• associated contribution agreements;
• asset transfer processes (including TUPE and pensions related issues)

•         Scoping of strategic solutions or workarounds to bespoke issues which may include for example;

• Permissions framework for conduct of business post Brexit;
• Treatment of Sanctioned Assets;
• Data Protection Requirements

•         Lead contact point for legal advisors

Regulatory experience is essential and candidates with experience in the financial servies sector are encouraged to apply. The role is to start in September.
