Job Details

Our client is an established regional firm in North Wales and they are looking for a Qualified Solicitor NQ - 3 years PQE family solicitor or legal executive (though other more experienced candidates will be considered)

Ideally you will have completed at least a 6 month seat in family/childcare law and qualified into this practice area. A desire to obtain panel membership would be welcomed and the firm is keen to support you with this.

The successful candidate will have experience in this area with a genuine interest and passion for progressing in this practice area. The role will see you dealing with a range of publicly funded matters from initial instruction to completion, including child contact arrangements, domestic abuse, child support, special guardianship and care/placement proceedings. Experience in dealing with private matters such as divorce, finances, matrimonial would be an advantage.

You will represent clients at Court, so will be a strong communicator with effective advocacy skills, able to manage client expectations whilst maintaining a compassionate approach offering a supportive service to those more vulnerable clients.

You will support other members of the team with their caseload and vice versa.

Salary is competitive with good holiday allowance and long-term career prospects.
