Litigation Partner

This is a Litigation Partner position with a highly regarded practice who have recently secured some large contracts and attracted heavy hitting talent. If you want to join an established firm with a progressive mindset - willing to open up equity - then this could be for you.

This law firm has been established over 30 years and has two offices, one based in Fulham and another based in Knightsbridge. They have a team of 30 members of staff and are well-known for the high level of service and good quality of work that they deal with. They have relationships with some of London's most high-end estate agents. You will find that you will have a hands-on role where you will receive training to deal you're your own caseload, giving you experience ahead of your years. They punch well above their weight regarding work, demonstrated by their ability to secure huge work contracts against much larger firms. They have a friendly, dynamic and progressive culture. There is a family feel running throughout the firm and now is an exciting time as they continue to grow.

The Role

The firm are looking for a Litigation Partner to join the practice. They have recently secured new contracts in the Corporate arm of the business and will consequently have a good deal of work to support the incoming Solicitor.

The Commercial Litigation department is currently very busy and thriving, they deal with an exceptional quality of work for a client base which includes businesses of varying sizes but many well-known names, the caseload will be broad but will include; Contract disputes, Shareholder disputes, Insolvency, Mediation, Professional indemnity, Fraud, Licensing disputes and franchise disputes,

The successful candidate will be expected to meet fee earning and other KPI targets, to ensure the successful development of the firm in line with the current business plan, to handle all forms of employment law issues for commercial / private clients, and to develop their own case load with commercial emphasis. Further, they will be expected to maintain and improve client care and to participate in the marketing of the firm by actively participating in networking activities.

Requirements

• You will be either a Senior Associate looking to move up to Partnership, or a current Partner handling Litigation matters.
• You will ideally have experience of leading a team, although this is not essential
• A good billings history is essential, experience of introducing new business is desired
• You should be ambitious and wanting to progress
• You will be an organised individual who is keen to develop in your career
• You will have good communication skills
