In-house Contracts and Compliance Manager

Our client, a leading humanitarian charity based in Central London are looking for an in-house Contracts and Compliance manager to join their governance department as soon as possible to assist with their various research contracts and compliance.

The position will initially involve supporting the contracts teams with tendering, negotiating, reviewing and drafting the various contracts required. There will also be a need to deal with any breach of contract as well as liaising with different departments, clients, executives and foreign governments to ensure contracts remain compliant.

The post is expected to last at least 6 months initially on a temporary to permanent basis. This will be an interesting opportunity for an experienced contracts manager/lawyer looking to work in a new fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in the following areas:

• Research contracts and research ethics
• Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
• Strong knowledge of the legislation surrounding charities in regards to safeguarding etc.
• Working in an NGO/charity
• Working proactively in a fast paced team
