Shipping Associate

A top 50 city firm is seeking a talented Shipping Lawyer to work alongside an exceptional partner. You will join a firm well renowned for their shipping department; on top of their great reputation they provide a relaxed and friendly culture with an excellent bonus structure. Contentious shipping experience is a must, as is a driven and ambitious personality and an openness to travelling internationally at short notice. Strong academics and the ability to work successfully in a team is also ideal.

The position itself will encompass insurance and casualty, commodities, shipping and offshore finance, both wet and dry shipping matters and ship building and offshore construction. The Marine and International Trade team is growing from strength to strength, and associates are encouraged to dip into each of these various areas. As such, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious Shipping Lawyer to join an ever growing firm and gain exposure to the many aspects of shipping law.
