A rare opportunity has arisen for an in-house property solicitor to join the legal team of a niche, in-house practice in Warrington, which specialises in commercial property lending. The company has undergone significant growth over the last couple of years due to continued success. As a result they are seeking to grow their tight-knit in house legal team with the hire of a solicitor from NQ level up to 3 years' PQE. 
 
The business lends funds in relation the full range of property related matters, including loans for both commercial and residential developments, bridging loans, loans in relation to the acquisition of land and refurbishment loans. 
 
Your role will involve liaising with the solicitor of the proposed borrower, reporting on title and submitting the report to the underwriter for a final decision. You will be dealing with matters such as Section 106, easements, sewer adoption, road adoption and ensuring that the loan remains good. You will be working as part of a tight-knit legal team with a wealth of experience in property and secured lending. 

This position is ideal for someone who has experience working in private practice and who is seeking a role working with with a good work/life balance, less rigidity than is often found in private practice and the opportunity to escape the pressures of time-recording. The location is easily commutable by car or train from Manchester, Liverpool and other areas in Cheshire. 
 
To be considered for this in-house legal position you will ideally be a solicitor of between NQ level to 3 years' PQE and have experience working in property work, either commercial property or residential property. Any experience in secured lending work would be a strong advantage.
