Job Details
The firm in question has embarked on a mission to develop a private wealth offering within the south west region to capitalise on a strong existing commercial client base. As such, my client seeks a Solicitor (flexible on PQE) develop the wills, tax, trusts and probate offering, with the full support and resources of this Legal 500 / Chambers recognised outfit
The role
The role will naturally involve business development. You will assist the team and work on developing a caseload and high-net-worth client base. The long-term prospects for the chosen solicitor in this role are phenomenal and you can expect exposure to an impressive variety of work from the start, along with a clear path to success.
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Dealing with preparation of Wills, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, Inheritance and Tax Planning matters.
- Delivering updates for both clients and teams internally
- Dealing with preparation of Inheritance Tax Returns for Estates and Trusts
- Drafting Trust Deeds, Trustee Resolutions, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
About you;
- Possess strong experience dealing with Private Client matters
- Have excellent communication skills
- Can work as an individual and as part of a team
- Excellent team player.
You will be joining a team in a well-established and busy Private Client Department based in Southampton and should be keen to progress you career.
