Highly regarded, global firm, based in Manchester are seeking a newly qualified employment solicitor to join one of the leading employment teams in the country.

The team, with over 85 lawyers, have one of the best resourced teams of employment specialists of any law firm in the country, offering national coverage from all of their offices.

They act for a broad range of clients ranging from international PLCs and large commercial businesses through to public sector organisations and education establishments. They help finance directors, HR teams and in-house employment lawyers of major UK and international companies to avoid employment conflicts and save money so that they can focus on managing their workforce more effectively.

To be considered for the role they are seeking a newly UK qualified solicitor (NQ) that has at least 6 months experience in employment, any additional exposure as a trainee or paralegal would be advantageous. The recruiting partner is looking for someone that can handle a broad range of employment work from employment tribunal litigation through to TUPE and outsourcing. In addition to strong technical skills they are looking for someone that enjoys working in team environment, takes a commercial and pragmatic approach to employment advice and can communicate effectively with clients from a broad range of sectors.
