Our client has a very successful firmwide competition practice with a full range of core competition work including merger control and joint ventures, EU trade agreements and strategies, compliance, investigations and appeals. With a team of 5 in Leeds they service challenging and often high profile work sourced from across the UK.

They are looking for a NQ- 2 years PQE who is technically skilled in Competition and EU law, and given that the team handles non-contentious and also contentious work they can consider those with a leaning either way or who enjoy the mix. You'll get your own case matters but also work as part of the team on larger more complex projects. Ideal applicants should possess a good understanding of the basics of economics as they apply in the competition law sphere, and have a real enthusiasm for this highly complex area of law.

Given the calibre of the firm they're a great option for relocators from London or Brussels who want to continue their practice in the North, and it might be possible to get relocation assistance as part of a premium remuneration package.
