Senior Private Client Solicitor / Partner

Our client's private client team is thriving at the moment and as such, they are looking to add a senior level Private Client Solicitor / head of department to the firm. Based in Newport the appointed Solicitor will take on a department and caseload of private client matters including drafting and analysing wills, LPA's, administering estates and advising on the effects of tax provisions upon death. In addition, the appointed Solicitor /partner will have the opportunity to work on estate planning matters. Due to the seniority of the Private Client Solicitor that our client is looking for, it is hoped that applicants may bring some existing work with them and have a network of contacts that may instruct on future matters, although this is not seen as a mandatory requirement for applicants.

THE CANDIDATE:

Our client is looking to appoint a senior Private Client Solicitor to add to the experience and expertise of the existing team. This role would suit a Solicitor with at least six years of solid experience gained working on wills and probate matters, and ideally a committed and driven individual who has had some experience working on more complicated and high value matters. It would be an advantage if the Solicitor was STEP qualified, although this is not a mandatory requirement. Our client is keen to hear from individuals who are technically strong, have exceptional drafting skills and experience in managing staff.
