Your new role

Sitting in the Guernsey team you will advise across a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters including existing and new client employment documentation and other general client guidance. As an associate, you'll play a pivotal role in this tight-knit team and provide support to partners and senior associates, ensuring their time is used efficiently by organising and managing their workload seeking your own solutions to the matters. As well as the responsibilities listed above, you will also be required to manage administrative tasks in accordance with required internal procedures and undertake personal contentious professional development and the firm's wider business development.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will be a high-calibre qualified Solicitor with relevant academic qualifications and experience in the UK, Channel Islands and/or other common law jurisdictions. Ideally you will have more than 2 years' post qualified experience in the practice of Employment Law and be competent in transferring your experience to the world of offshore law. Further, you will obtain exceptional client liaison, interpersonal, time-management and organisational skills to thrive in a small but perfectly formed team.
