This North Manchester based mid-tier commercial firm are seeking a Head of Department to help run and develop their existing conveyancing department. This firm have multiple offices based across Tameside & Oldham and are recognised as one of the most successful practices in the area.

You need to have at least 3 Years' PQE and experience of management as you will be overseeing a small team and be developing the department once it has become self sufficient. Whilst there is some work in place you will also need to be commercially focussed and be able to generate new work for the department through developing a new and existing client base.

You will have a significant impact on the structure of this department and will be working with senior management to boost productivity and increase capacity. There are currently 5 members of staff in the team which includes Solicitors, Fee Earners, Paralegals & a Secretary.

As you will be undertaking supervision and management duties prior experience of managing a full caseload is essential as this caseload will consist of sales & purchase, remortgage, right to buy, transfer of equity, new builds and shared ownership matters on both freehold and leasehold properties.
