Commercial Litigation Solicitor - Very Broad Subject Matter

An award winning, very highly regarded full service national practice is continuing with its expansion and is now eager to appoint an additional Commercial Litigation Solicitor to its highly rated Dispute Resolution Team to work alongside some of the most renowned litigation practitioners that are based in the region.

Based in the heart of the Black Country, this firm is a national practice that has a reputation for consistently delivering exceptional standards of service and for inspiring confidence on behalf of its significant number of clients. At the same time, the firm promotes a culture of meritocracy in a very stable and supportive working environment. In fact, one thing which sets this firm apart is that many of the current partners here held partner roles at national and international firms in Birmingham city centre but moved here to benefit from a lack of bureaucracy yet retain exposure to top quality work.

The Dispute Resolution Team here is one of the most formidable in the locality and has extensive experience in acting for large corporate and public entities, major national companies right through to SMEs and entrepreneurs and is renowned for delivering pragmatic, commercially sound advice. The team also acts for a portfolio of clients within the agricultural sector as well, so you will certainly be exposed to a very broad are of litigation.

As a consequence of growth, the firm is keen to recruit an additional experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with anything from 2 to 5 years' PQE to work alongside some of the best commercial litigation lawyers in the sector. You will handle your own caseload of commercial litigation matters whilst at the same time form part of a larger team and work alongside partners on much more complex and technically challenging matters. In addition to both pursuing and defending claims on behalf of clients, you will also work collaboratively with other departments to anticipate potential risks and provide advice to minimise potential problems that might arise in the future in respect of a diverse mix of projects the wider firm is instructed on.

Where this firm differs from others is that you will be actively encouraged to develop you own client base from the outset which will be carried out by a combination of making you a key contact for existing clients whilst at the same time supporting you to introduce new clients to the team, meaning that you will arguably develop faster than your peers and increase your level of commercial awareness and business development capabilities.

The firm is offering a very competitive remuneration and benefits package, participation in the bonus scheme, and you will enjoy working in a grown-up environment with very little in the way of arbitrary KPI's and targets whilst also being able to take advantage of the firms' agile working programme.

This is an ideal opportunity for those who are keen to be part of a firm that offers a different way of doing things so for more information on this Commercial Litigation Solicitor role please contact Matt Robinson at QED Legal.
