Leading law firm with a strong offshore presence working across banking and finance, corporate/M&A, trusts, dispute resolution, and property law. This market leading, full service law firm practices Bermuda, BVI, Cayman and Channel Island law for an impressive portfolio of clients.

Your new role

The Guernsey team are seeking a Junior Associate to join their well-established corporate practice. As an Associate you will be offering high-quality expert legal advice to clients including international global institutions and investment funds, corporations, governments and, other high net-worth individual and entrepreneurs. More specifically, in the team you'll work closely with senior members of the team and provide support to partners on matters like company takeovers, M&A and demergers, joint ventures as well as managing and drafting legal documents and leading negotiations and transactions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a determined and personable associate with up to two years' relevant experience having qualified in the UK, Channel Islands and/or the Commonwealth. Ideally you will have trained with a Top Tier or City firm, having undergone seats within either funds, corporate or banking/ finance, preceding excellent academics. You should be a confident team player, competent in resolving client issues speedily and have a desire to lead on a variety of transactional matters.
